WHO is Austin?

Austin Duplantis is a filmmaker based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

In May 2025, he graduated from Belmont University with a B.F.A in Motion Pictures.

“I’ve always known I was meant to be a storyteller. Stories have the ability to let us live countless lives. I’ve chosen film as my medium, because when those lights dim, there’s nothing more powerful than the collective experience of being in a theater together.”

    Austin Duplantis has written and directed many short films and music videos, with more coming soon. In addition, he’s crewed on dozens of other shorts in various capacities.

  • Scripts

    Austin Duplantis has written several feature length screenplays, and is always writing another. He’s also written two television pilots, and is turning one into a full season.

  • Sketch

    Austin Duplantis is an accomplished sketch-comedy writer and director. He’s directed five full length variety shows, and written hundreds of sketches.
